Charlestown Coastal Walk and Shipwreck Museum visit, with best selling author, Raynor Winn.

St Petrocs invite you to an exclusive Community event. In collaboration with the Coast Path Connectors, we will enjoy a morning circular coast path walk. We then invite you to bring a packed lunch and join us on the decked area of the Charlestown Shipwreck Museum where we hope to hear from bestselling author of the ‘The Salt Path’, Raynor Winn.

After lunch all will be invited into the museum and Shakleton Exhibition to enjoy at your leisure.

Cake and hot drinks will be served on the Shipwreck outdoor seating area at 2pm.

A more detailed plan of the day is shown below.

Please note that if you are unable to join us for the walk, we still welcome you to book a space and come along from 12pm to meet and enjoy an afternoon with us.

10:00am: Meet in Charlestown car park to begin a circular walk.

12:00pm:  Meet at the Charlestown Shipwreck Museum to eat packed lunch outside on the decked area.

12.30pm: We will be inviting Raynor Winn to talk to the group about her experiences of homelessness and journey along the South West Coast Path.

1:00pm - 3:00pm:  All will be invited into the museum to explore the exhibits at their leisure with expertise from Museum Curator (Depending on numbers we may split the group in half.  One half visiting the museum, the other visiting the Shakleton Exhibition. These groups can then swap after cake and drinks.)

2.00pm (approx):  Drinks & cake available – outside at the Shipwreck seating area.

3:00pm End and depart.
